10kg Weight Bag Hire

Product Details:

Our 10kg Weight Bags for hire are useful for adding temporary weight to stands, base plates or structures requiring extra stability. Otherwise known as shot bags, these flexible weights come equipped with a stitched-in belt handle for easy carrying.

This item is intended for use with our Festoon Pole and Base Plate Hire Kits but can be hired individually for other uses.

If you are using the weight bags with our festoon pole and base plate hire kits, we recommend the following weights for the spans listed below. If you are creating a zig zag pattern with your festoon, you will need to double the weight on the plate.

0 to 5m Span of Standard Festoon
- Minimum 1 Bag/10kg Per Base Plate

5 to 10m Span of Standard Festoon
- Minimum 2 Bags/20kg Per Base Plate

10m to 15m Span of Standard Festoon
- Minimum 4 Bags/40kg Per Base Plate

15m to 20m Span of Standard Festoon
- Minimum 6 Bags/60kg Per Base Plate

WARNING: Failure to stabilise a festoon pole base plate using at least the minimum recommended amount of weight bags can result in serious injury and/or property damage. It is the responsibility of the hiring customer to ensure that there is an adequate amount of weight placed on base plates to prevent pole movement or toppling over of the pole kit. Brisbane Event Lighting accepts no responsibility for damages to property or injuries to people due to equipment that is hired and self installed by the hire customer. It is the responsibility of the hire customer to provide safety to all guests and/or audiences when hiring and self installing equipment.
